Anne and Hayes chose the Thursday Club to host their intimate family wedding.  We love the view of the ocean visible from the beautifully landscaped ground and all of the opportunities for great photos.  The wedding day was blessed with beautiful weather and the day ran seamlessly from the first look to the last dance.

 

 

Words from the Thursday Club‘s website:  The Thursday Club was formed in 1921 when four young women proposed the beginnings of a club that would combine social activities with worthwhile civic and benevolent projects. It wasn’t until 1927 when The Thursday Club was granted the deed to a large parcel of land on a choice spot in the Sunset Cliffs area of Point Loma by the Pantages, Mills & Shreve Company, that they would realize their dream of having a clubhouse to call their own. Today, the Clubhouse is renowned as a beautiful San Diego wedding and event venue with timeless Spanish architecture and expansive ocean views.

Built in 1927 in Spanish architectural style, our extraordinary Clubhouse sits on a half-acre of stunning ocean view property in Point Loma. The well-tended, often blooming gardens offer an inviting entrance into our charming San Diego event venue.

Inside the clubhouse, you’ll find original, beautifully maintained hardwood flooring, French doors, stained glass windows, and historic details in the chandeliers, crown moldings and finishes. Outside is a wonderland of pristine gardens with a flowing fountain, green arbors, trellises, winding paths, and breathtaking ocean views.
